This is the oldest commercial brick building on the waterfront in Dartmouth.
It is mentioned several times in The History of Dartmouth.
Originally built by the Stern's Family, the building served the citizens
of Dartmouth as a Post Office, a Hardware and Dry Goods Store, and as a
Bank over the last 120 years.
In the fall of 1994 the building was renovated and modernized with great care to keep it's historical character and style. |
